Our office provides our patients with comprehensive care during our regular business hours including same-day and sick visits.

When our office is open we prefer to see you in our office rather than have you go to a walk-in clinic or emergency room. Please call our office, send us a portal message, or book on the portal for these appointments as soon as you recognize you may need to be seen. If this is a true emergency then please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

After Hours Care or Urgent Care Are Provided By:

Our office is part of an accountable care organization/quality of care organization and per insurance guidelines we are encouraged to educate our patients on proper use of the emergency room and or walk in clinics. ER visits are expensive to the healthcare system so please be respectful of this even if you are not the one covering those costs. Ultimately we all pay for this in our premiums.

CALL US FIRST! During office hours/weekdays we request that you call our office or send us a portal message and allow us to see you for a sick visit. There are very few situations where we would not have the ability to work a patient in so please always call even if you do not see an available appointment on the portal. If a situation develops where you do not feel you can wait until we open to be seen, then please go to a walk in clinic (location and information for those are listed below). Some insurance companies also have nurse lines that you can call for suggestions on what to do when you are sick.

Do not use the emergency room for conveinence or after hours visits that are not truly emergent in nature.

  • Examples of true emergencies include:
Stroke like symptoms (slurred speech, sudden onset severe weakness of an arm, leg, or facial muscles/facial droop), Chest pain, new onset Severe Shortness of Breath, Severe Abdominal Pain that is uncontrolled with medication, Acute major trauma including severe head injuries that may be due to car accident or fracture (some fractures can be handled in a walk in clinic like a wrist, arm, toe, etc), new sudden onset severe Altered Mental Status due to possible infection (Sepsis), Suicidal thoughts with an intended plan.
  • Examples of items that should be handled in a walk in clinic or our office when we open:
Urinary tract infection, Upper respiratory infection, dizziness, stomach pain or mild to moderate abdominal pain, headache, sinus infection, high blood pressure, high glucose, cut, burn, minor injury, anxiety.
